Overview

Essential Info

Think that accountancy is a little bit boring? Then think again. Gone
are the days of desk-bound, number-crunching finance. Today,
accountancy careers offer great salaries, travel opportunities and the
chance to work your way to the top.

If you don’t want to specialise just yet, this is the most general
of our Accounting degrees. It gives you a solid grounding in four main
themes: financial reporting, management accounting, financial
management and computerised accounting systems. It is the perfect
foundation for lots of different careers in the profession. You will
develop a broad knowledge of business in the first year, taking an
in-depth look at the many areas of accounting in years two and three.

This course is fully accredited by the Association of Chartered
Certified Accountants (ACCA) – the global body for professional
accountants. If you successfully complete your degree, you will have
already passed nine of the 14 papers you need to sit for ACCA
membership. So not only will you graduate with a fantastic degree, you
will also be one step closer to a professional qualification.

This undergraduate accounting brochure provides an overview of
information that applicants will find useful when making the decision
