This Systems and Control MSc degree aims to develop a sound
understanding and knowledge of systems and control, and offer a wide
choice of modules to suit your individual needs. You will learn the
combined skills in your chosen area ranging from software engineering,
image and signal processing, supply chain modelling and control.
This course covers all the major aspects of control engineering,
systems modelling and simulation, with modules ranging from classical
control system design to optimal adaptive and intelligent control
systems, including a wide range of optional modules. The course is
flexible and allows students to bias their study programme to meet
their individual needs. You will study core modules in;
- Digital computer control systems
- Linear control engineering
- Computing for control
- Simulation of systems
Together with six optional modules. You will also complete an
individual project for the MSc.
Graduates may apply for membership of the Institution of Electrical
Engineers and the Institute of Measurement and Control. Career
