Overview

In choosing to study this Psychology Degree at Aberystwyth University you will immerse yourself in the study of the human mind and human behaviour. Systematically understanding human mental life and behaviour, you will investigate normal and abnormal human development, interpersonal and social interaction, the relationship between personality and culture and the wider complexities of human thought and action. The Psychology degree is BPS accredited and you will successfully emerge with the skills, competences, and abilities demanded by the many graduate employers of Psychology graduates. These skills include analytical and communication skills, alongside the discipline-specific competences. Psychology is the scientific study of the brain and human behaviour and experience. You will study the psychological and neuroscientific processes that underpin daily activities such as thinking, reasoning, memory and language, and learn the consequences of brain injury and how to improve health-related behaviour.
