The MSc in Finance, Accounting and Management focuses on the key elements of business, with a strong emphasis on creating and measuring value through the principles and practice of accounting and finance. The course aims to produce fully rounded practitioners with an appreciation of all business disciplines.
Initially, students take a number of compulsory modules to provide the foundations for an understanding of management and business disciplines. In the second semester, learning focuses more specifically on finance and accounting issues from both a strategic and internatioinal perspective, and students will have the opportunity to choose one elective subject from an extensive range. The final part of the programme is the dissertation, with students investigating a specific finance-related topic.
The programme is designed for students interested in a career in finance and general management, with our graduates well represented in nearly all functional areas of finance, and in a wide variety of organisations including financial services, consulting, industry and public sector.
