at least a bachelor’s degree from a recognised university in a field related to urban development
The entry qualification documents are accepted in the following languages: English.
Often you can get a suitable transcript from your school. If this is not the case, you will need official translations along with verified copies of the original.
!NB Only the following tests are accepted:
IELTS – minimum 6.5 overall, with no subtest lower than 5.5
If you have previously studied in English, you don’t need to take an official exam. Instead, just provide the following documents:
- An example of a previously submitted, substantial essay or thesis in English.
- Confirmation from the institution that the language of instruction was entirely in the English medium.
At least 2 reference(s) should be provided.
A motivation letter must be added to your application.
!NB Working experience in relevant field is considered an important asset during the selection procedure, therefore please add CV to your application.
We advise you to make sure you have an authenticated birth certificate ready, as you may also need it for formalities upon arrival in Holland.

!NB Chinese applicants are required to apply for a “Nuffic Certificate”. This is a document that provides an assessment of your English language proficiency as well as of the educational degrees and diplomas that are required to be eligible for an entry visa to the Netherlands.
