This course in Business Studies will grow your managerial expertise and put foundations in place to ensure you continue developing through your professional life. You’ll also learn how organisations are structured, and gain insight into what makes them function best. Speakers from the industry visit regularly to complement the own research-led teaching – giving you real-world and rounded knowledge of business and the tools needed to succeed in it.

The expert staff has a track record of preparing graduates for roles at some of the world’s best-known companies, and everything they do is designed to equip you with the practical knowledge you need to become an effective manager. You’ll learn how to solve complex problems through analytical decision-making, explore organisational structures, and develop personal skills in critical thinking, teamwork, and leadership.

Programme structure

The Management course is designed to arm you with the skills you’ll need to become an effective manager in today’s rapidly evolving business environment. Your first year of study will provide you with a broad grounding in business and management, covering topics such as the history of management, decision-making, and business innovation.

In semesters 3-7, compulsory core modules provide theory and applications of management. You’ll study leadership, business ethics, project management and more.
