Studying English Language at Worcester gives you the skills to understand how the way we speak, influences our perceptions of reality, our identities and brings our thoughts to life.

Religion, Philosophy and Values in Education at Worcester hones your interests in philosophical questions and examines how Religious education can be an important tool at a time when acquiring religious literacy is universally important.

Career opportunities

Many graduates of this course will take a postgraduate education course as a fourth year of study and enter the teaching profession. Others will find that the skills acquired through the study of English are particularly highly regarded in all professions where good communication skills are prized such as publishing, journalism, public relations, human resources and web-based communication.

As well as going on to become successful teachers other students have moved into areas of learning support, child mentoring and welfare, and become training officers in the private sector.
