Overview
The Data Science for Life Sciences master programme is for life science or IT-students who want to learn more about the growing field of data science. After this master you will not only be able to conduct research, but also facilitate and initiate innovations for the Life Science Industry. You learn how to build and manage data storages and breach the gap between life sciences and technology.
Would you like to specialise further in Data Science? In the master programme in Data Science for Life Sciences, you will be combining your knowledge of life sciences with data science. You will work as a professional on new data processing technologies and contribute to healthcare and innovations in the Life Science industry. In short, you will develop into a data scientist who bridges the gap between domains of life sciences and technology. You will play an active role in ensuring that the data generated by the exponential growth in databases and medical databases is exploited to the full. The data scientist of the future must be up to speed with new developments in the professional field and must know exactly how and where the necessary information can be gathered and integrated in order to reach a well-informed research conclusion.
