Overview
Interior Design BA (Hons) develops your ability to manipulate and divide volume and space within interior environments, while building your awareness of community, social and global issues.
Some of your projects will be about regenerating and adapting real buildings and sites, such as converting old commercial premises into exhibition or retail spaces, bars and restaurants. You will develop skills in drawing, 3D modelling, computing and the video-modelscope.
The first year introduces you to CAD and the importance of visual communication and Design Cultures. In the second and third years you develop your own personal style and design language, and your learning becomes increasingly autonomous as you pursue individual projects.
