During this foundational stage, you’ll develop your understanding of the key elements of business operations, the challenges in the current business landscape and future trends. You’ll explore data, information and intelligence, and get an insight into finance, marketing, and the tactics and techniques needed to understand and influence people. In this stage, you’ll build your specialist skills and knowledge, deepening your understanding of the core ideas and concepts behind successful digital marketing campaigns. Subjects include website and app design, consumer behavior, social media and CRM.
You’ll also study project management and explore team learning and performance. As your expertise grows, you’ll be starting to implement your business plan and pitch your skills to the target market.
As you develop your portfolio of marketing solutions you’ll also undertake a substantive piece of academic work — either an applied project, a work placement or a dissertation.
