The first level Master’s course in Tech: Style Design, Trends, Textile, Technology is open to candidates who have a degree (or equivalent educational qualification) and to entrepreneurs and workers with experience in industry who are interested in joining and working in fashion and design companies.
The aim of the Specialist Master is to provide participants with the design and organisational tools incorporated in the creative processes in the fashion industry.
The learner will have the opportunity to expand a system of skills aimed at innovation in textile products for the fashion sector and for public and domestic furnishing. These design skills are aimed at facilitating product innovation that is not simply formal and aesthetic, but also regard innovation in material performance, comfort, function and ergonomics become innovative as well.
After a first “warm-up” and preparation phase, in which students will be guided through the deepening of essential themes such as project culture, strategic design, trend research and design leadership, the course will focus on specific units that will enable them to strategically think and develop their own creative professional projects.
The course has been developed and will be delivered jointly by Istituto Marangoni and POLI.design, Consorzio del Politecnico di Milano.
At the end of the course, upon successful completion of the final exam, participants will be awarded a First level Master certification (60 CFU equivalent to 60 ECTS).
