A practitioner and a theorist,versed in the humanities, always alert to sociological and cultural change and informed about the most significant trends, the copywriter is a key figure in advertising agencies. Together with the art director, the copywriter is responsible for a firm’s communications strategy and must therefore master the process of choosing the copy strategy, a rich cultural background and awareness of language trends.
Creative writing acquires a dimension of innovation and research in the hands of the copywriter, whose professional expertise is extensive: from advertising and fiction copy to developing website contents and TV serials.
