Overview
Degree-level maths is about finding ways to answer big questions. You will look at how mathematicians have tried to answer similar questions in the past. You will also learn how to construct a logical argument with reasoned conclusions.
The course includes core mathematics, pure mathematics, applied mathematics and probability and statistics. As you progress, there are more and more opportunities to specialise. In the fourth year, you’ll complete your own extended project.
