The University of Gloucestershire offers over 100 undergraduate and postgraduate academic study programmes through nine schools:  Art and Design, Business, Computing and Technology, Education, Health and Social Care, Liberal and Performing Arts, Media, Natural and Social Sciences, and Sport and Exercise

 

The University of Gloucestershire guarantees you support to create Your Future Plan, ensuring you make the most of every opportunity during your studies. This will include your own personal tutor who will work with you to identify a range of exciting opportunities that will enable you to achieve your future aspirations. These opportunities provide the chance to develop your CV as part of your assessed studies. Students have completed placements at organisations including BBC, ITV, Superdry, Intel and IBM.

 

The university is has invested £90 million into new buildings and facilities, including:

  • State-of-the-art facilities in the Media Centre and a new computing and cyber security centre at Park campus in Cheltenham,
  • A brand new Performing Arts and Events Centre at Oxstalls campus in Gloucester. 
  • A new 794-bed Student Village at Pittville in Cheltenham is set to open in September 2017.
  • A brand new £16 million building to house the Business School and Growth Hub at Oxstalls Campus in Gloucester from September 2018
  • Enhanced sports facilities at the Oxstalls campus and adjacent Plock Court Sports Park for September 2018.

 

The university is well located and is within one hour of international airports in Birmingham and Bristol, while London is just two hours away. It is placed in a picturesque part of South West England and is spread across four stunning campuses in the towns of Cheltenham and City of Gloucester.  Students love the county of Gloucestershire for its eclectic mix of events, with over 45 music, arts, science and literature festivals every year.  More information can be found on the website.
