In the first two years your study will broaden your view of
automotive engineering and further your understanding of the basic
engineering concepts such as stress, dynamics, heat transfer and fluid
mechanics. You will study Vehicle Systems, Manufacturing Technology
and Materials, Mechanical Science, Electrical Science, Engineering
Applications, Solid Mechanics and Dynamics, Thermofluid Mechanics,
Analytical Modelling, Engineering Management and Design and
Years three and four allow you to select a range of options to
complement your mandatory studies, so you can tailor your degree to
your own requirements by specialising in subjects that interest you.
The choice includes: Finite Element Analysis, Vehicle Noise Vibrations
and Harshness, Reliability and Durability, Telematics, Intelligent
Transport Systems, Advanced Materials, and Manufacture.
As well as the engineering expertise you will develop through the
course, we will actively encourage and support you in your preparation
