In Retail Management you will learn to develop and supervise stores within the fashion and lifestyle sectors
You will be able to transfer the core values and concept of the store right through to the employees so that the relation between idea and implementation is clear and distinctive. You will acquire a profound knowledge of how to supervise and motivate staff and you gain insight into developing and optimizing store concepts. By understanding consumer behaviour and marketing in depth you will be able to fine-tune the store management and you will learn to work in an independent manner with development, Human Resources and strategy on a high level.
The Retail Management Degree will allow you to: Work in a theoretical and practical manner with developing and managing concepts for a store portfolio – handle retailing concepts – work out and implement sales and marketing activities – point out ideal store placements – determine pricing strategies for a store – understand the development within retailing, including communication, materials, history and trends – apply current management tools, including human resource.
