If you would like to be involved in designing and constructing web applications, you should consider the Professional Bachelor of Web Development. With this Bachelor you can get employment in internal development departments or in large consultancy or software companies within the web area.
The Professional Bachelor of Web Development programme is ideal for you, if you would like a higher education based on the Computer Science or the Multimedia Design and Communication programmes.
The Professional Bachelor of Web Development programme is an 18-month degree course. The programme focuses on the development of web technologies within a number of different application fields and a number of different distribution platforms. We consider it particularly important that you work with technologies that will enable you to undertake many different kinds of jobs. These may be anything from advanced web development projects, where the products are aimed at many different platforms, to the use of multimedia in integrated communication solutions.
The Professional Bachelor of Web Development programme consists of six subject modules, a work placement and a final bachelor project. Each of the first two semesters features three modules, whilst the final (3rd) semester consists of a work placement with an IT company and a final bachelor project, also to be completed in a company.
