The Professional Bachelor’s Degree in Software Development programme is an advanced course based on the Computer Science programme. The programme is ideal for you, if you would like to take part in the design and construction of large data-heavy distributed IT systems.
The Professional Bachelor’s Degree in Software Development programme is an 18-month degree course. The focus of the programme is to build large, distributed, data-heavy IT systems – subjects that were the focus of the 3rd semester of the Computer Science programme.
The programme will give you competences that will enable you to participate in the development of technical design and realisation of systems in a distributed environment. It also focuses on the application of widespread methods and technologies. As a Professional Bachelor in Software Development you will be able to undertake functions as Systems Developer/Architect in connection with the development of large distributed systems.
The Professional Bachelor’s Degree in Software Development programme consists of six subject modules, a work placement and a final bachelor project.
The subject modules deal with various issues related to the development of large data-heavy and distributed systems. The subject modules are completed as separate subjects, and it is your responsibility to create cohesion between the modules in your final bachelor project.
