Overview

The world is looking for new ways to treat disease and repair damaged organs. Stem cell and regenerative medicine is driving the search. The industry is embracing new technologies. Specialists are in demand.

This unique specialist course gives you practical experience in human embryonic stem cell techniques, helping you develop the professional skills employers want. You’ll also spend time in seminars considering the ethical and legal issues associated with the field.

You’ll learn from leading researchers and hone your skills with a research project of your own, based in our world-famous Centre for Stem Cell Biology.

There are lectures, practical classes, tutorials and seminars. In small groups, you’ll discuss, debate and present on scientific and ethical topics. You’ll get one-to-one time with staff and training to support your research project.
