Overview

The Masters programme in Sustainable Environmental Design in Architecture (MSc) is available with specialist modules that include designing for climate change, sustainable architecture, low carbon technologies and computer modelling of sustainable environments.

Taught by our expert researchers, the programme is for graduates and professionals wanting to learn about the increasingly important area of sustainable design. You’ll also be able to develop practical skills in computer modelling and environmental assessment.

You’ll also be able to personalise your programme, by choosing from specialist modules that reflect the high quality research expertise in the School.

Alongside core modules in research methodologies, communications, CAD and current themes in architectural research, we offer options that include:

- sustainable architectural design
- sustainable urban environments
- climate change
- low carbon energy technologies
- lighting
- acoustics
- construction and management.

Covering academic and practical issues, the programme is an excellent preparation for specialist roles within academic research and architectural practice.
