The MSc in International Business is designed to suit the needs of non-business undergraduates wishing to develop further their knowledge and skills in the field of business within an international context. The programme is designed for you if you are a graduate seeking a conversion degree to international business. The programme focuses on developing the managerial and general business knowledge and skills required to operate successfully and excel in an international business environment. The programme is full time, and will typically take 12-15 months to complete, dependent upon the time required to complete the dissertation stage of your studies.
The learning focus of the MSc in International Business is to enable you to acquire a broad, robust and practical knowledge of business administration in a global business context. The MSc International Business programme also provides the opportunity to focus on one of three specialised areas: International Business; International Marketing; or International Finance. The essential knowledge and skills required of international business managers are covered in Term 1. This leaves Term 2 to conclude with integrative modules (strategy and research methods) and specialist modules. The successful completion of your research project in Term 3 will enable you to gain your MSc in your chosen area.

The purpose of the dissertation is to complete an original and independent business research project. The dissertation will develop your research, analysis, synthesis, and business writing skills. The research project will focus on your chosen specialised area of International Business. Assessment To gain the Master’s degree students need to complete eight modules and a dissertation of approximately 15,000-words.
