The MSc in Strategic Marketing, is designed for students from a range of backgrounds who are looking to develop their knowledge and skills in marketing from a strategic perspective.
The programme will provide you with the knowledge, technical skills and expertise to develop marketing strategies which deliver a competitive advantage through a clear customer focus. You will also develop an understanding of the full range of marketing tools and techniques available, and how to integrate them to plan and implement successful marketing programmes.
Suitable for students with or without prior experience of business, marketing or management subject areas, it is aimed at both recent graduates and those with a first degree and work experience. The programme delivers many opportunities to gain practical skills in marketing and strategic marketing through the use of module assignments, case studies, industry speakers and consulting projects.
Initially, students take a number of compulsory modules to provide the foundations for an understanding of management. In the second semester, learning will focus more specifically on marketing from both a strategic & operational perspective, and students will have the opportunity to choose one elective subject from an extensive range. The final part of the programme is the dissertation, with students invetigating a specific marketing related topic.
