Our Marketing, Advertising and Public Relations BA (Hons) course has been written to provide a multidisciplinary perspective on marketing communications from both the client and agency perspectives. It is an ideal preparation for a career in the popular, fun, fast-paced and varied world of marketing, advertising, PR and the media – working in-house for an organisation or in a specialist advertising, PR, media or communications agency.
You will explore strategic, operational and psychological aspects of marketing, advertising, public relations branding, customer behaviour and campaign planning; and work as part of a real team for a live client.
This BA (Hons) Marketing, Advertising & Public Relations degree is recognised by the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR). CIPR recognition confirms that course content has been assessed to provide relevant skills and knowledge development towards a career in public relations or communications. It is also mapped against the Chartered Institute of Marketing’s Professional Marketing Standards and is strongly vocationally oriented.
This degree will signal to future employers your aspirations to become a dedicated marketing communications specialist. You will also have the opportunity to take a paid placement year during your degree, so that you can gain valuable insights into the real world of work. You can add further value to your CV by spending a study semester overseas at one of University of Worcester’s partner universities in the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand or Europe.
