It’s not just the rich cultural history that Nijmegen has to offer. A large number of students, numerous events and festivals, unique hot spots and cosy restaurants all add up to unprecedented liveliness in the city. Students can go to the city beach next to the river Waal, or relax at one of the numerous sidewalk cafes, restaurants, and much more.

Students can take advantage of Nijmegen’s great location and wonderful transit connections. Major European cities like Amsterdam, Cologne and Brussels are just a train ride away and via the many nearby airports, they are well connected to the rest of Europe. The students themselves appreciate the green surroundings and the many opportunities that the city offers for relaxation and entertainment.
