The learning environment should recreate a working rolling news environment, with live assignments and deadlines; it is purposefully designed to try and equip you with the skills and knowledge necessary to work in a professional multi-platform newsroom.

Meanwhile, by exploring journalism and communication skills you should have the opportunity to develop throughout the course and this should prepare you for a wide range of potential future careers in other areas, such as PR, social media content and marketing, politics, commercial business and publishing.
