Overview
Combine the study of the skills and methods behind educating and teaching, with the beginner or post-GCSE level study of the Mandarin language.
The course is ideal for students who discontinued languages at school after year nine or GCSEs, or those who have no background in languages. Competence in a foreign language is useful for primary teaching and may provide a foundation for teaching secondary learners.

However, the degree opens up opportunities to work in a number of wider educational environments, including:
Youth and community work
Local authority employment
Social and educational research
Early years settings
