Overview
The teaching is a mixture of classroom lessons and project work, in which theory is typically taught through assignments, cases and projects. You will experience a practice-oriented form of teaching rather than lectures.
You will work both individually and in groups, and always in a project oriented manner.
In each semester you will work on a cross disciplinary project that combines the different subjects taught during the semester in a final project. You will notice your project work skills improving from one semester to the next.
Most projects will be carried out in cooperation with companies. VIA University College works closely with the utility sector, so you will be able to approach your project work from a practical angle.
During the seventh and last semester, more than half of the time has been set aside for your final Bachelor project on a topic of your choice.
Career opportunities
The hallmark of the programme is its international focus and the inter-disciplinary skills that make you attractive to a wide range of companies.
