Often you can get a suitable transcript from your school. If this is not the case, you will need official translations along with verified copies of the original.
IELTS: 6.5 with a minimum of 5.5 in each component
At least 2 reference(s) must be provided.
These should be supplied and signed by academic staff at institutions where you have studied previously. They must be presented on the official letter-headed paper of the relevant institution. If you have been out of education for the last two years, you can send one academic reference plus one from your current employer if you wish.
This course is for advanced musicians who want to develop their performance skills to the highest level while exploring repertoire in terms of performing style and historical context.
Practical performance work will be supported by individual instrumental tuition and complemented by studies in musical analysis, history and research skills, as well as optional modules across Music Management, World Music, Music Psychology and Composition.
Students receive individual tuition on their instrument (24 lessons per year) and have opportunities to participate in masterclasses with visiting artists.
Throughout the course students will be given every opportunity to perform, whether informally within the department or in public recitals.
