Interested in sport and the science that drives it? Aspire to help elite athletes perform to their highest potential? Or make your mark by tackling health challenges such as obesity, heart disease and diabetes?
With a practical emphasis on the latest sports science, you’ll learn about psychology, physiology, biomechanics, nutrition, strength and conditioning and performance analysis to help you give future sports stars the winning edge.
You’ll also learn about health issues from internationally acknowledged experts, giving you the real-world experience to qualify for public health roles.
With access to sports laboratory and testing equipment in our specialist sport and teaching facility, this is a course that focuses on practical hands-on training to set you up for a career in sports science.
